For this particular piece, the hipstamatic, grainy feel of this photo gripped me. It reminded me of the 60's. A beautiful American couple set out to achieve the American dream.
"...He's having a hard time at work, feeling inadequate and frustrated as a husband, as a father. She reaches over with her beautifully pale and delicate hand and places it atop of his. Almost as to shield him from his worries, and looks deep into his eyes and says, "We're gonna do this. Everything's going to be okay, I promise."
His sad eyes meets hers and he conjures up a smile for his pretty princess. "I couldn't do this without you, you know?" He admits.
"I know," she says softly. And they both turn to look forward at the sun that will once again set tonight; turning off the lights on their troubles, only to shine a light on them first thing in the morning..."
